Antique Hammersley Chocolate Cup & Saucer, Roses

This porcelain chocolate cup and saucer was produced in England by Hammersley & Co. It was produced especially for Ovingtons Brothers of New York. The saucer has a diameter of 5 ½ inches and the cup is 3 1/8 inches high. The handle is empire style with a sweeping curl up over the rim of the cup. Large hand painted cabbage roses accent the sides of the cup and the border of the saucer. They are outstanding on the gold ground. There is lacy gold trim inside the rim of the cup.

The handle and rims are embellished with gold. FOR OUR CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE US.
