Antique Belle Epoque Painted Fabric Tapestry Thorny Roses & Doves Framed

We are offering a Magnificent Antique Belle Epoque Painted Fabric/Tapestry. Belle Epoque (aka'Golden Age','Beautiful Era') was. A period of high artistic or cultural development, and comfortable well-established life in Europe before World War I, conventionally dated from 1871 to the outbreak of World War I in 1914. Characterized by Beauty over substance; this work like many of the time depict Floral decorations, in especially flowing, sensuous lines and Nature in general. Here we see 2 White Doves frolicking at center surrounded by thorny vines holding red and yellow roses. We believe the pigment to be oil paint but it may be mixed with other medium(s). The colors are still quite clear and lovely - Deep red roses contrast wonderfully with the green leaved vines. 1 1/8 Wide Antiqued Gold scoop moulding.

Image opening measures 23 1/2 X 56 and is Very Good. There is a bit of slack in the fabric here and there but overall the piece looks great. Outside measure of the frame is 25 3/4 X 58 1/4 and is in Good condition.
