Vintage Venetian Hand Painted Gilded Florentine Cabinet with the most fabulous garden green background with romantic highlights of deeper green shading towards the outside of each bouquet painted area... Every drawer front, door, side, upper side , as well as top is decorated with floral bouquets in colors of pink, peach, blues, holds, and cream all with wispy dark green foliage.. There is etched decorative scrolling and Italian beading around the entire chest.. 2 top drawers and 2 lower doors below enable great storage functionality...
The left door hastens inside while there is a small brass covered keybole/lock but no key but a generic skeleton key may fit.. The cabinet closes well without a key.. The colors are yummy and the gilding is vibrant... There is minimal paint wear and one area on the left section of the top has been lightly painted over to cover a small scratch (shown in last photo) but barely noticeable and this piece is so beautifully glitzy that a couple of small paint worn areas could never detract from its very special beauty!!
