(A kind person gave me this information):The shapes are very typical of the tea wares being produced at that time and are depicted in the book on Coalport by Michael Messenger. This teapot dates from the early 19th century prior to 1820. It is all hand painted in a arched gold gilt and centered within are hand painted gold and purple flowers and an art deco style purple flower in between where the arches meet. It is absolutely gorgeous having much gold decoration.

The lid is topped in gold as is the handle. Condition: There is a chip on the spout and I have provided a close up of that.

Underneath and inside are cracks. Near the base on the white portion to the right of the handle are a few more cracks. Due to this, the teapot should only be used for display purposes and it is a beauty to show off! Measurse 7" high to top of lid and 10-1/2" from handle to spout.

NOTE: I have a set of 4 coffee cans and saucers, a pair of coffee cups and saucers, and a bowl that all go with this teapot if you are interested in adding to the teapot.
