This is a very beautiful and very rare style frame, a museum quality item, excellent for an antique vintage painting, tapestry, print or for a great beveled mirror! The Empire style in France movement in architecture, furniture(including frames for mirrors and painting) and other decorative arts, brought a full return to ostentatious beauty and richness. Listed for sale is the frame only. The oil on canvas painting inside is offered for free, as a gift, coming with your frame. If you do not want the artwork, we can take it away and send you only the frame. This oil on canvas is an original one, very impressive, signed D. Aliberti, titled Fiori e Libri It. LARGE SIZE: The ornate mirror frame measures 40 x 35 (thick = 5) inches. Image area is 24 X 20 IN. REALLY A GREAT SIZE AND IF YOU HAVE THE RIGHT SPACE IT WILL REALLY MAKE A ROOM. CONDITION for the frame: VERY GOOD; minor imperfections are not noticeable!

Some small inside lines show age wear, in some tiny spots being partially repaired or touched-up or re-painted. There are minor stains in a few places, but nothing visible when you have it on the wall. The oil painting is also in very good condition. REALLY VERY BEAUTIFUL ON THE WALL!!
