For your consideration is this magnificent oil painting. The painting is done in the manner of Catherine Klein and is that of a lovely grouping of pink roses, some of the roses are in full bloom others just buds. It is signed with the initials J. In the lower left corner.

Truly "one of the best" on this site at this moment in time. The frame is not a true yard long as it only measures 28" x 11.50 x 1"d. The painting has been executed on stretched canvas and housed within a period gesso frame(no glass) We can date this piece to late 1800s- To early 1900s.

Overall condition is good for age and time traveled. We see some loss of gesso noted mostly in the bottom corners which have been painted over in gold wear, nicks some corner separation shown in our photos.
