The colours in this painting are dark and rich... Very beautiful and a really good example of Victorian style rose paintings. This is a real painting on a hard surface (possibly wood) and not canvas.

I have shown the different areas closeup that indicate the detail of the paint strokes, natural aging as well as any minor flaws. As a whole, upon looking at this piece of art, the flaws are minimal and not really noticeable to the naked eye. If you need absolute perfection, then perhaps a newer print would be more suitable. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I have never hung it in my home because these are not my colours.

Oh, how I wish I could redecorate my whole house around this beautiful old world painting. Frame measures 23 1/2" X 17 1/2".

The painted surface measures 19 1/2" X 13 1/2". It has always been carefully stored and is in the same vintage/antique condition as when I first received it. It will be well packed for safe arrival to it's new owner. Please feel free to ask questions.
