Gorgeous Pieces depict an expertly hand painted pink, yellow and red roses on a shaded background of green, blue, purple , pink and yellow. Gorgeous Large Tea Pot with Super Ornate Handle, Elephant Trunk spout and super ornate Finial stands impressive 7" tall and 9" wide across from handle to spout. Fabulous Sugar Bowl measures 5"high and 7"wide across from handle to handle. Footed dessert Bowl is 6.5"d and 2.5 "high.
Each piece is beautifully decorated with heavy Coin Gold gold, raised gold and white enameled beading. Both pieces are is in excellent condition with no any damage, repair and paint loss. Thee is some wear to the gold where lid sits. HISTORY/MARKS: Carl Tielsch and Gideon von Wallenberg (a banker from Wroclaw) in 1845 founded the porcelain factory C. Today this is called Stary Zdroj, a district of Walbrzych, Poland.
In 1861, Tielsch was awarded the title of Royal Trade Counsellor to acknowledge his contribution to Silesian industry. After his death in 1882, he was succeeded by his son, Egmont. Hutschreuther in Hohenberg acquired the majority of the companys stock and merged the factory with its company in Hohenberg while continuing to use the C. The Tielsch factory is still producing today and is now called Fabryka Porcelany Walbrzych S.
